THEATER NIGHT: WHEN JANUARY FEELS LIKE SUMMER

The play concerns two young African-American men from Harlem, one of whom falls in love with a pre-op transgender Indian woman and chronicles their relationship as a romantic comedy. It’s a lovely play that gives us real characters from the LGBTQIA community and their struggles and triumphs dealing with love and family in contemporary NYC.
